Deceased Bloated Rat (2023) I spotted this horrific creature while walking my dog through the Mt. Vernon neighborhood. I began to shoot some video when two women walking towards me suddenly spotted the rat and screamed in horror running across the street to safety. Many people online thought this animal was a muskrat. Though it does resemble one I can assure you it was rat. A very bloated dead rat. The next day it had released its gas and was back to a normal size.
